ABOUT OUR MOVEMENT

Cascadia is a bioregion that covers much of what is currently Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. It’s a diverse landscape of glaciated mountains, temperate rainforests, sagebrush steppe, and home to 16 million people.

Cascadia Democratic Action is a coalition dedicated to peaceful strategies to achieve independence and autonomy for the people of Oregon and Washington in order to better protect human rights, increase access to health care and affordable housing, guarantee access to education, and to create a thriving, environmentally sustainable economy in the Pacific Northwest.
